I have just come back from Bali.
I cannot begin to describe how grateful I feel for the opportunity to travel somewhere I've wanted to go to since I was a little girl.
As a child I may have done some kind of a project at school where we saw pictures of Bali, or maybe it was as a result of my mother's love for the film South Pacific;
anyway, I got the idea it was a beautiful and amazing place and wanted to go there.
Like many childhood dreams however, I allowed it to be lost as I grew to be an adult.
Recently, as a result of the founder of an organisation I'm a member of
living there; Bali has come back into my consciousness. Every year he
runs a business school there.
I knew I would learn a lot by going to the business school but, knowing
it would be an expensive trip I didn't imagine I would be able to
afford to go.
Then early this year I took part in an NLP course.
We had to project ourselves into a future event after which our lives
would never be the same. The event I could most imagine doing that for
me, was the Entrepeneur Business School in Bali. So although it was only
a couple of months away, I used that as my future event for the
exercise.
Wonder of wonders, with only about a month to go till the business school, my partner decided to go and to take me along too.
It was a truly amazing experience and Bali is an absolutley beautiful place with lovely people and a fascinating culture. I will definitely be going back. I learned loads at the business school, mostly about myself; and my life will never be the same again.
Dreams do come true and I am an extremely lucky woman.
I don't know if it was Law of Attraction working or NLP, but I am very
grateful to Hattie for paying for me and giving me that fabulous
opportunity and I can say for sure that it will be an investment worth
making.
I will never be the same again.
Thank you.
